I have been hunting and fishing since the age of 9, but it wasn't until about 5 years ago that I decided I wanted to take the next step and pursue a professional career in tournament fishing. Since then, all of my time has circled around fishing, guiding and working for my sponsors. I am fortunate enough to be attending college in a great fishing state such as Texas and can say that being in an area with so many diverse lakes has really helped in advancing my abilities as an angler.

As far as tournaments are concerned, 2010 will be my first season as a professional on the B.A.S.S. Central Opens. I also fish the Bassmaster Weekend Series and BassChamps well as the A.C.A. and Under Armour College Bass tours. However, my main focus, and the tournament in which I have devoted myself to winning is the BoatUS Collegiate Bass National Championship. Although I do my best to map out my fishing career only a few years up the road, I have a great drive to really make something huge out of my love for fishing.

I have been very blessed with the success of my fishing career and it would be selfish for me to not give credit to all of those who encouraged (or just put up with) my love for bass fishing. I want to thank God; nothing of what I have accomplished would be possible without him. My Mom and Dad; they are my biggest supporters and, occasionally, my bank account. All my aunts and uncles, especially Tom and Jim, as you are almost solely responsible for my initial obsession of the outdoors. My best friend, Jonathan VanDam and my good friend, Ben Dziwulski.
